2. Be a Volunteer
ELiTE is completely volunteer member run. Members and non-members can volunteer to support ELiTE in many ways.
Help plan and oversee fun social events. This may include the monthly drop-in socials or keeping track of book clubs and movie groups.
Meals for Elders
Many elders need assistance in preparing healthy meals, especially during illnesses.
Some of our members need assistance getting to the store or to medical appointments on a short- or long-term basis.
Time Bank Skill Sharing
The Time bank is for members who are willing to volunteer a skill and time to help a fellow member. This could be as simple as changing out light bulbs, rearranging furniture, walking a pet when someone is ill, or updating a computer. Trustworthy folks able to help with organization for members who are downsizing are especially in demand.
